Morning walks can happen earlier, which is nice. Unfortunately, I was a little too enthusiastic in picking up a Keurig K-pod that I dropped yesterday and tweaked my lower back. Why does my body think it’s older than I actually am? I’m too young to be this old! 🤣

Just a few more days on this work trip and I’m starting to drag a wee bit. On Monday, I drive home and spend time there busy in different ways for a bit before heading back out for another trip.

Hotel room Keurig barista. This trip I got Caribou k-cups for the coffee maker in the kitchenette of my room… very convenient. Someday I’ll branch off into more in depth morning thoughts…maybe. I kind of like the quick hits of the coffee-ku’s, I just might stick with it for a while.

I do love the usual some days…coffee, walk/ruck, coffee/breakfast/reading. This is how the day begins!
Another Morning and More Coffee!
What else did you expect? That is how this works…. I drink coffee and think of things to put here… sometimes, occasionally, or when I remember or feel like it!
Yesterday was Labor Day and had nothing on the calendar. I went for a mountain bike ride in the morning on a trail I’d never been to before. Then, later in the afternoon we went out for another hike. This time to a trail I hadn’t been to yet on the other side of Spartanburg, The Cottonwood Trail. It was a beautiful trail. I love trails like this where you are still in the city but feel like you are much farther out in the woods!
Now it is back to work. Well, I am working from home right now so the commute is a pretty easy one!
